"Balls in Flasks" is a browser puzzle where you pour colored liquid between flasks until each contains only one color. Unlike other puzzles, this game uses flasks of varying volumes that you cannot simply rotate, forcing you to plan a precise chain of moves. The defining mechanic is a strict pouring rule: you can pour everything into an empty flask, but into a partially filled one only if the top ball matches the color already inside.

The gameplay revolves around constantly moving balls from the top layer of one flask to another. You click the source flask and then the target one, transferring either half the contents or just the top matching layer. Every turn requires a decision on where to stash extra colors so they don't block access to the balls at the bottom. If you accidentally mix colors in a flask and have nowhere to dump the excess layer, you have to restart the puzzle from scratch.

This game is a good fit for logic puzzle fans who prefer thinking before acting and dislike rushing. There is no timer or penalty system, so you can sit and consider options for ten minutes while making a single move.

Tip: in the first minute, locate an empty flask and use it as a temporary bin for excess colors to clear the bottom of filled vessels.
