Котовасия is a puzzle game about matching identical elements, with the main difference from other match-3 games being the mechanic of moving tiles across the entire grid, not just to adjacent squares. You have to think several moves ahead to create space for new combinations. The cat-themed visuals add charm, but the core remains strategic.

You click the left mouse button on a tile and select an empty cell to move it to. If a line of three or more identical elements forms after the move, they vanish, and the upper rows fall down to fill the gaps. Every turn shifts the balance of power on the board, so you constantly reassess your plan. Your goal is to gather a set number of points or clear specific blocks if they exist on the level. Controls rely entirely on the mouse, without hotkeys or complex combos.

This game will appeal to logic puzzle fans and meditative time-killers tired of endless runners and action games. The mechanics are simple, but by the middle of a match, it heats up when there are almost no free cells left. It is a solid option for a break when you want to use your brain without extra stress.

Tip: in the first minute, avoid making random moves at the edges of the board and focus on the center to create cascading combinations.
