Medieval Battle 2P is a turn-based strategy about knightly armies, and its main hook is right in the title: two players share one computer. No online matchmaking — one screen, two sides, and somebody walks away salty. The core mechanic is simple: you pick a unit, decide where it moves, then attack or hold position. Your opponent does the same with their army.

The loop looks like this: deploy your troops, read the enemy's formation, move units across the field, and pick the right moment to strike. Every turn is a decision — push the center, flank, or turtle and wait for a mistake. Controls are mouse-based: click a unit, click a tile. Pick a bad position and you only fix it on your next turn, no undo. The first minutes are calm, but once the battle lines clash, every careless step gets punished.

Who is this for: anyone who wants a quick match with a friend sitting next to them, not hour-long campaigns. Works for kids around eight and adults who miss board games. The rules click within a couple of turns, and there's no upgrade screen or ten-tab menu to wade through. Tip: in the first minute of a battle, don't send every unit into the center — keep at least one squad covering a flank, or your opponent will slip around the side and split your army in two.
