Classic Blackjack

"Classic Blackjack" is a browser card game oddly categorized as racing, though you only need to beat the dealer to win. It is hard to distinguish this from other racing games because the Hit or Stand mechanic is pure math, not a chase. The goal is to get a hand value closer to 21 than the dealer without going over that limit.

Every round starts with two cards, and you decide what to do next. You press Hit to receive another card and try to improve your total, or Stand to keep your current hand and pass the turn. Aces count as 1 or 11, and face cards are always worth 10, so you must do the mental math quickly. If you take a card and your total exceeds 21, you lose the round immediately, even if the dealer has a weak hand. The dealer must draw cards until reaching at least 17, which gives you a slight strategic advantage.

Tip: this game works well for anyone who enjoys calculating odds and thinking through decisions slowly. For the first minute, do not try to get a high score; instead, watch the dealer's upcard closely. If they show a 10 or an Ace, play conservatively and stand on 16 or 17 to avoid busting on one extra card.
